COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Michelin Free Set of Tyres Giveaway

1. This free giveaway is open to UK and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 and over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of this prize draw.
2. No purchase necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted.
3. There is 1 prize available. The prize is one set of Michelin tyres (either 4x tyres for a car OR 2x tyres for a motorcycle/bicycle) where we manufacture a manufacturer recommended fitment. This prize excludes motorsport tyres and the Michelin historic range. There is no cash alternative. The closing date for entries is 23:59 on 15th March 2024. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms.
5. To enter the prize draw, entrants are required to: 
•Sign up to the Michelin newsletter on page https://www.michelin.co.uk/michelin-month-in-motion-registration
6. A winner will be selected at random from entries that meet the above requirements.
7. The Promoter will contact the winner by 31st March 2024.
8.The winner will have the option to select either, car or motorcycle or bicycle tyres (in accordance with these terms and conditions).
8.1 If car tyres are selected by the winner, the winner will have the option of arranging either the:
• fitting; or
• collection,
of the car tyres from a Blackcirlces.com dealer network. If fitting of the tyres through Blackcircles.com of car tyres is selected, the Promoter will bear the costs of the fitting (provided fitting takes place at the time of collection).
8.2 If motorcycle or bicycle tyres are selected by the winner, the Promoter will arrange for delivery of the tyres to a UK address provided by the winner. The Promotor will not be responsible for any fitting costs or collection costs from such UK address if applicable. 
9. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 2 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 
10. Any travel expenses, or any other expenses in the general use or claiming of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
11. The prize is subject to availability and is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
12. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Michelin Tyre PLC and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the Michelin Privacy Policy.
13. Internet access required. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
14. Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for administration of the Promotion and fulfilment of the prize. Please see the Privacy Statement below for further information.
15. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is directly caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
16. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails legal.general@michelin.com or writes to the address set out in these terms (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within two months after the Closing Date of the competition. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter using the details above. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to relevant supervisory authorities on request.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. The Promoter’s decision is final. 
18. These terms are governed by English law. If you are a consumer then, wherever you live, you can bring claims against us in the English courts and if you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. Michelin Tyre plc (“Michelin”) acts as a Data Controller in relation to the organisation and management of the win a set of tyres prize draw (the “Promotion”). You can contact Michelin’s data protection officer by emailing legal.general@michelin.com. You can request access to your data, update any inaccurate or incomplete data, object to the processing of your data and suppress information which relates to you. You also have the right to request the deletion or removal of personal data and restrict the processing of your personal data. The Promoter will process claimants’ data based on these terms and conditions.

Marketing – if you select to receive marketing communications, personal data collected for marketing purposes is being collected by Michelin Tyre plc (solely to manage marketing consents). Michelin will use your consent as the legal basis for marketing purposes. Michelin will generally retain your information until you choose to unsubscribe. However, if we have not heard from you for a while or notice that you have not opened our emails in a period of 36 months, we will remove your details from our database. You can opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in each email.
